Dear Neighbor,

Because I have served in the legislature for 18 years, Kayla and I know many of you.  If we haven’t met you yet, we look forward to meeting you during the campaign. 

It’s been a pleasure representing Anchorage in the legislature, helping our state grow, and providing Alaskans with the opportunity for a better and more enjoyable life.  Alaska has grown from a state with a tiny population to one with a dynamic and growing economy.  But our problems have increased.  I’ve been proud to help make Alaska a safer and better place to live.

I’ll continue to support a stable and fair oil revenue system that benefits all Alaskans and protects your Permanent Fund Dividend.  I won’t give away our resources.  I’ll make sure Alaska receives a fair return for our assets.

Legislators have a responsibility to protect our state and help our economy grow, with jobs and prosperity for all Alaskans.  People should be able to succeed through their own hard work and not government handouts.  But I won’t turn my back on anyone who wants to succeed and is willing to work.  I’ll be there for you and for our businesses.  I’ll continue to make my experience count!
